In issue 166, Le Journal du Vrac highlights OTEXIO’s expertise through an article dedicated to new fire-safety requirements, applicable to storage sites and to the evolution of the European regulatory framework, notably with the BROOF T3 classification.

The gradual tightening of fire-safety regulations is now leading storage-site operators to adapt and further secure their infrastructure. The introduction of a harmonised European framework for roof classification, notably incorporating BROOF T3, marks a decisive milestone for industrial and logistics buildings, by imposing new performance and compliance standards.

In this context, OTEXIO develops storage buildings designed to meet the most demanding fire-safety standards, while ensuring the operational performance of the facilities. The objective: to offer reliable, compliant and durable solutions, capable of adapting to the specific constraints of each site.

Modular buildings compliant with fire regulations

OTEXIO offers a complete range of storage buildings adapted to European regulatory constraints related to fire risks for sites handling or storing waste and flammable materials.

We offer two solutions: large-span steel buildings and self-supporting steel domes.

Large-span steel building :
Designed to meet current requirements and anticipate regulatory changes, the large-span steel building provides large working volumes with no operating constraints. Thanks to its ability to cover several bays within a single structure, it promotes an optimised site layout and increased productivity.

Comparable to a permanent building, it stands out for its fast installation and budget control, while guaranteeing robustness and long-term durability.

Self-supporting steel building :
An innovative solution offered by OTEXIO, the self-supporting dome is based on an assembly of curved steel panels. This design eliminates any internal frame, fully freeing up the volume for storage and handling operations, while ensuring excellent mechanical resistance and high durability.

A particularly suitable answer for Recycling platforms, waste-treatment sites and the storage of combustible materials.

OTEXIO, main contractor: end-to-end project management

The article also highlights OTEXIO’s positioning as a main contractor. This model offers industrial clients a single point of contact and an end-to-end approach from design to installation. OTEXIO assumes the risks, guarantees deadlines and ensures delivery with all stakeholders.

As a main contractor, we manage the entire project through a structured technical and industrial approach, supported by our in-house design office. From preliminary design through to final on-site installation, we ensure full coordination of operations.

OTEXIO is committed to overall project accountability: control of deadlines, risk management and coordination of all stakeholders, to guarantee a smooth and secure worksite.
