Issue Encountered

The client, specialized in waste massification, requires a tailored solution to optimize the outdoor storage and management of its materials. Massification involves grouping large quantities of waste to reduce logistics costs and improve transport efficiency to treatment centers.

In this context, the client has already created a storage cell using OTEXBLOCKS® concrete blocks to store plasterboard. This plasterboard, delivered by multiple trucks, is then loaded onto a semi-trailer and transported to a specialized treatment center.

The challenge lies in implementing a solution that effectively protects the plasterboard from weather conditions while meeting the site's logistical and operational constraints.

Solution proposed by OTEXIO

OTEXIO suggested installing the RCOVER®BOX tarping system, perfectly suited to cells built with concrete blocks. This system ensures 100% waterproof coverage thanks to its PU tarp and side flaps. Its structure, consisting of steel arches running on rails, allows quick and obstacle-free opening and closing of the cell, thereby providing an unobstructed area for loading and unloading.
