OTEXBLOCKS® are stackable modular concrete blocks designed for the rapid construction of stable and secure walls, while limiting constraints related to foundations, earthworks and civil engineering. Their design allows for simple, fast and cost-effective implementation, without systematic heavy construction work.

OTEXIO walls are generally built with concrete blocks measuring 160 × 80 × 80 cm and benefit from REI 120 and REI 240 classifications, regardless of the concrete class used, guaranteeing a high level of fire safety for industrial sites.

In order to ensure a perfectly level and plumb wall, the nature of the ground may require:
- The study and construction of a specific ground beam or concrete slab, particularly in the presence of asphalt or natural ground
- Levelling on an existing concrete slab, subject to its capacity to withstand load transfers
(validation by topographic survey of the slab roughness)
- Unlimited modularity:

Are foundations mandatory to install OTEXBLOCKS®?
No, heavy foundations are not systematic. Depending on the nature of the ground, installation can be carried out:
- on an existing concrete slab capable of taking the loads,
- with specific shimming,
- or, if necessary, with a dedicated ground beam or concrete slab.
Each project is subject to a prior technical study to guarantee stability and compliance. We can also propose the right civil engineering solution for the needs of the project.
Are the blocks glued or mortared together?
No. OTEXBLOCKS® feature male and female pyramid-shaped connectors that provide mechanical interlocking without glue or cement.
Depending on the project, we can also fasten them together with fishplates or, for more demanding cases, threaded rods through their height.
Are OTEXBLOCKS® block walls fire-resistant and compatible with a BROOF T3 installation?
Yes. OTEXIO walls made with 160 × 80 × 80 cm concrete blocks are rated REI 120 and REI 240, regardless of the concrete class used.
They therefore offer a high level of fire safety, which is essential for industrial and ICPE sites.
Can Otexblocks® be adapted or reused?
Absolutely. OTEXBLOCKS® are designed to be scalable, demountable and stackable:
- adding blocks to increase storage capacity,
- changing the configuration as the site evolves,
- dismantling and reassembly without degradation.
It is an ideal solution for sites with changing needs, with modular storage areas.
Who installs the concrete blocks?
Installation is carried out 100% by OTEXIO specialist teams if the client requests it.
The blocks are prefabricated (or cast on site for certain projects) and delivered directly to the site, guaranteeing:

-optimum safety,
-full regulatory compliance.
Are OTEXBLOCKS® concrete blocks suitable for industrial waste?
Yes. OTEXBLOCKS® are particularly well suited to processing sites, waste storage sites and ICPE facilities.
The concrete formula (D16) is adapted to the type of material or waste stored, guaranteeing durability, resistance and safety, including for industrial waste and bulk materials.
What are the dimensions and customisation options of the two-slope COVERLINE® tunnel?
The two-slope COVERLINE® storage tunnel is a fully modular solution.
It can be adapted in length, width and height to meet storage volumes, the equipment used and the organisation of the site.
Many customisation options are available: types of gables, industrial doors, ventilation, tarpaulin colours, specific protections. This makes it possible to design a made-to-measure storage building that is perfectly integrated into your industrial site.
