Net for snow retention
GRIMPER_PP20_300
The net for snow retention is specially designed to equip the landing slopes of ski jumps, in order to keep the snow in place during the winter period. Indeed, these slopes are generally covered with slippery synthetic fibres allowing summer use. The installation of large-mesh nets is therefore indispensable to guarantee the grip and stability of the snow in winter.

These nets are installed before the first snowfall, generally in autumn, then removed at the end of the winter season in order to recover the summer use of the installations.
Manufactured in anti-UV treated polypropylene rope, these nets present a robust structure adapted to demanding climatic conditions. The model commonly used is composed of knotted meshes of 300 x 300 mm with a rope diameter of 20 mm, guaranteeing excellent resistance and a good hold over time.
The net sheets are assembled together with the help of carabiners of a resistance of 3000 kg, equipped with a safety latch. Their fastening on the existing structures is ensured by polyamide lanyards of 2 metres, connected to the support cables.
Each project is the subject of custom manufacture, according to the laying plan provided by the operators or owners of the jumps. OTEXIO can also propose the fitting on site, on request, as well as the intervention of a technician to accompany the project.
