How to Reduce Leachate Treatment Costs?

Our client from the SUEZ group, a waste management service, contacted us to replace the 12-meter diameter tarp covering a leachate basin on their site, as the original tarp was damaged.

The basin contains leachate, and in case of rain, if the basin is not protected, the volume to be treated increases, leading to higher treatment costs.

We provided a comprehensive solution to our client by working on both the tarp and the structure.

  • The choice of the TARPLINE® 600 tarp
    • The waterproof tarp protects the basin from rain, and we tailored it with perimeter access hatches for easy access to the basin.
    • We selected the TARPLINE® 600 tarp because it is very sturdy and highly resistant to severe weather conditions.
  • Reinforcement of the structure
    • We added steel reinforcement cables all around the existing structure to strengthen and stabilize the entire setup.
